This was my first time at this race on Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This is a good course, ten miles, almost no traffic and a couple of armed guards to keep order. My placing was so-so out of about 100 riders. I averaged 24 mph even though I was riding conservatively in my first race back after being ill for a week. This was the first TT I have done in a long time where no one who started after me passed me. Yes, I know, my accomplishments in racing are incredibly modest. Nevertheless, this is a nice race and well worth the drive to Dayton.
